Gardening, Seed, & Scion Exchange

To help you prepare for this coming spring's migration back to the garden, OBGEC will be hosting that time-honored tradition of exchanging seeds with friends and neighbors. This seed saving class that will cover the basics and offer great resources as well as our very first annual Seed & Scion Exchange.
We will have seeds donated from our favorite seed companies at the event and encourage you, our community, to bring any seeds you have saved or leftovers from recent years. We will also have a scion table for exchanging clean cuts (with at least three buds) from disease free trees. Please bring non GMO and non hybrid seeds in containers that are clearly labeled with plant type, variety, and year. We also recommend bringing envelopes to take home your new seeds, a pencil or pen, a notebook and a tote for it all.
